Challenges stem from network dynamics — link lists change rapidly, so consistent indexing requires carefully defined update semantics and possibly versioned path lists. Security and privacy considerations arise when exposing link metadata; mechanisms like signed path lists and access control are necessary. Finally, integrating NthLink with existing routing stacks and transport protocols requires careful design to avoid extra signaling overhead.
